Six-member Sikkim team for national badminton championship

GANGTOK, (IPR): The Sikkim badminton team is set to compete in the U-19 National Badminton Championship 2024, scheduled to take place in Odisha from November 20 to 25. The tournament is being conducted by Badminton Association of India and hosted by Orissa Badminton Association.

The team comprises six talented boy and girl players who have been rigorously preparing for this national-level competition, informs a press release.

Guiding the team are two coaches, Selina Rai and Ravi Rai, whose expertise and mentorship have been instrumental in the players’ journey so far.

The Badminton Association of Sikkim (BAS) has extended its best wishes to the entire team. The association said they are confident that the players will showcase exemplary performances and bring pride and recognition to Sikkim through their efforts in Odisha.
