S-League B Division: Sikkim Sinolchu defeats Denzong Boyz

GANGTOK,: Sikkim Sinolchu FC on Friday defeated Denzong Boyz FC 2-1 in a closely contested match of S-League B Division organised by the Sikkim Football Association here at Paljor Stadium.

Sikkim Sinolchu FC took the lead in the first half but Denzong Boyz FC found the equalizer within two minutes of the second half through a strike from Gyurmey Sangay Bhutia.

The game remained tight till the 80^th minute where Phug Hang Subba struck the winning goal for Sikkim Sinolchu FC. The winning team’s goalkeeper Sushil Limboo was adjudged as the player of the match.

Round two of the 2024-25 league will start from July 14 where Singtam FC takes on Boys Club followed by the match between Sikkim Sinolchu FC and Northerners FC, a SFA press release informs.
